Pelvic rotation and bulging disc, need suggestions

For different types of workouts aside from traditional squats and lunges. I've had 2 bad car accidents and threw my back out again a couple of weeks ago. Chiropractor released me to workout again, but with no squats or lunges for 4-6 weeks.
