So, I started watching last night. I think I got through the first three (pilot and first two episodes).

For some reason, from what I'd heard, it was along the Sex and the City lines, but it just seems so dark and depressing to me. Is it supposed to be or am I just macabre?

    The first season gets less depressing, but it's definitely not like Sex and the City.
