Marathon Training and Cross Training (Insanity video)?

Hey everyone!

So I'm training for my first marathon that will be in April (so it's still a ways away), but I'm still trying out a few different Marathon plans and figuring out which one I want to stick with. All of them have one day of cross training so I know that's an important aspect, but I was wondering if the Insanity Core Cardio & Balance video would be one good option to do on a cross training day. It's the recovery week video so it's not as strenuous as the other ones. What do you guys think? Thanks!

    I've heard of MANY people who used Insanity to help them train for marathons and triathalons so it's a great idea! And you don't need to necessarily stick to the non-strenuous workouts either. If you're going for "easy" runs a few days a week you can put on the other workouts to help you with speed and power!
