So I love weight Watchers for the points - I lost 40 pounds using it last year and loved it. Problem is that they don't have hardly any food items compared to MFP. The barcode scanner is also a seperate app - stupid.

So I switched to MFP a while back and it worked for a while - trying to get back on track right now.

One thing that was very helpful in the past was a meal planner - it suggested dinners that fit in your calorie limitations and then you could print a shopping list for the entire week to work with all your meals.

Is there anything like that available here?

I use ZipList - you can save recipes from the web to your account, then when you add a recipe to your list it automatically puts all the ingredients in your shopping list for you (and you can choose to uncheck the items you already have).

The best part, for me, is that it automatically categorizes all the items into departments, otherwise I wander all over the store and totally forget there were 2 more things in the produce sections when I'm half way down the list.. Syncs with an iPhone app as well
