I'm so lost...

Ok, here is the del, every time I try to log my food the sizes are just so rigid, you search for almonds, then it gives you two options: 1 cup, or 100 gr.....??? What if I just had 10 almonds, period... I'm hating this... CC is much more flexible in this kind of stuff...but in FP I can manage my macronutrients ratios...

You can just put like .05 in the space before the amount like 1/10 of a cup? That's what I have been doing.

i'm sure you'll figure it out or you could always go back to CC
  • food scales are amazing for this problem...that and most nutrition labels state how many grams are in a serving.

If you measure your food then just choose a food thats been entered in grams, select 1 gram from the drop down menu and enter how many grams you ate.

If you aren't measuring your food then the amounts you put in won't be very accurate and that kind of defeats the object of calorie counting.

If you want to know how many calories are in 1 almond then you might be able to find an entry for calories per almond otherwise you'll have to work out how much one weighs and either put your own entry in to the database or times the grams of one almond by how many almonds you ate. Simples!
