Back-of-the-closet Christmas

I finally got the nerve to pull the stack of jeans out of the back of the closet. You know the ones - the "Oh @#$%, can't wear these any more" stack :noway: . Most of them fit! I even discovered three nearly new pair. At the bottom of the pile were my "target" jeans. (I picked a number for MFP, but my goal is for these to fit.) Emboldened, I tried them on. They zipped! Last time I tried, I couldn't even pull them up. They're too tight, so there's work to be done. But I'm finally seeing some tangible success. Yippee for NSVs! :drinker:

Congrats! That's the most awesome feeling. I'm like you, I set a target weight but my top goal was to fit back into my skinny clothes. I left a couple of dresses in my closet and my skinny jeans in my drawer for inspiration. A couple of weeks ago I noticed that some of the size 8P's I was wearing 6 months ago were way too big so I pulled out a few of the size 6P dresses I had brought in the interim and they were actually fitting a little loose. Feeling emboldened I tried on my 4P dresses and they fit! The skinny jeans were the ultimate goal though since pants are always the first place you notice any weight loss and/or gain. I crossed my fingerw and pulled them on and they zipped! Like you they were a little tight but it wasn't a struggle... BEST FEELING EVER!!!

Sorry. I thought about that, but that board seems to be more for the big successes (like some that have posted on here with FANTASTIC numbers on their tickers :flowerforyou: ).
