    Not to say anything negative about gays, but one dude kept sending me weird messages, anyway I've come back and ready to lose this extra baggage, need male buddies and of course chicks and more chicks!

    We get weird messages all the time. The gender of whom sends it does not change the fact that they are usually unwanted.

    OP could have done what the rest of us do, ya know..

    (1) don't respond to unwanted message

    (2) if messages keep coming, tell user you don't want them writing you

    (3) if messages keep coming --> use block function in message box

    What is there to feel uncomfortable about having someone hit on you? And if it has anything to do with someone you might not be attracted to hitting on you, then this is something EVERYONE deals with, regardless of gender. The homophobia is not necessary. It really isn't.

    Yep! Totally agree with Sara. Welcome to our world. Also, I never assume that the weird emails I get from other females means they are gay (not that it would matter). If it was actually friends you were seeking ( which I doubt) I'm pretty sure you just lost more than you would have gained with this ridiculous statement.

    I am assuming that this is a joking/sarcastic comment, as otherwise it would be a totally obnoxious, offensive, bigoted and ignorant comment to make. And I would hate to assume that.
