Hey, hi!
I don't usually participate on forums, but this seems like a friendly and supportive bunch, so I thought I would give it a try!
I wrote a blog post earlier today introducing myself, so I hope you don't mind if I copy it here:
I am an avid blogger of 3.5 years over at YummyGoods.com.
It's my personal blog where I write about my life as a fabric designer/craft book author/shopkeeper on Cape Cod. I post about anything and everything--- creativity, yoga, what I'm listening to, anxiety and depression, rust, unicorns (yes, really), working out, food issues, sewing/crafting, thrifting, gardening etc.
You get the idea. It's stew of luscious photos, quirky art and juicy honesty.
I have been back on track with eating well and exercise for a couple of months and it feels amazing. I write about it from time to time on my blog, but I don't think the majority of my readership would be into me posting daily about my workouts! So I will start a little fitness/health diary over here.
From time to time, (I do hope you won't mind) I will post a link from my regular blog on my MFP blog or in the forums if it is relevant. My most recent entry is, so I thought you might like to have a look.
I have always struggled with Anxiety and Depression, which I am very open about on my blog. Not in a depressing moaning way (I hope!) but in a way that says, 'Hey, a lot of us feel this way and it's better if we talk about it' . And it's better if we share about what helps keep us feeling strong and balanced.
Here is yesterday's post about how running helps me deal with Anxiety and Depression: Peace Is Every Step.

As for today, I went for an awesome run this morning that usually takes me 55 minutes--- and finished in 50! I feel incredible. Energized and happy with myself.
