Weight vs. Looks (post-pregnancy)

So the scale says I'm 3 pounds to pre-baby weight..... but I do NOT look it!!!! It's really frustrating to work so hard to reach that specific goal (from 180 back to 160) and to not have the body you thought you were going to have!!! I wonder how much more weight I'll have to lose just to LOOK like the weight I was before I had the baby??? Will I ever look like that again? I wasn't that amazing looking... but it was better than this. That stupid baby pouch....... grrr!

Oh, Poor you! Our bodies turn into something completely different post baby! Hips different, belly, boobs and don't even get me started on the stretch marks. Some women are lucky and they seem to just fall right back to pre baby. Other of us well not so much! I hope that you find what works for you to help you reach your goals. I had an aerobic instructor tell me years ago about going to her friends house and making her do an ab routine every night and it worked. Her pooch went away. I've seen great results on women here in the success stories that use Insanity, i haven't gotten the nerve to start that yet though... take care and keep trucking! You 've done great!0

After power 90 and p90x, my stomach still droops a bit....I really hope it is possible and maybe if I had not waited 7 yrs to try to make it go away.....I am just keeping on trying...Oh the boobs...I had a bathing suit that I wore in college that I loved.....It fits everywhere but there...good luck0

Yeah... don't know what to tell you. I have a friend due in Oct and she said, "I can't wait to have the baby to get my body back." I told her she'd never get her body back. It'll be a different body for the rest of her life, inside and out.
But...
You can still look hot post-baby, just differently! Don't give up!0 -
I guess I'm going to have to put a lot more exercise/strength training into the weight loss this time. I'm so used to mostly dieting for weight loss! I take walks but I don't do any exercise beyond that.... If I start doing those lower ab sit-ups then maybe that will tighten the area.... ug, that just sounds like torture LOL!0
