Hello,

I am Vicki and new to this dieting malarky but weight has started to creep on so thought it might be a good idea to start tracking what I eat and how much I exercise to shift a few pounds.

When do I weigh in? Is it a weekly thing? What does everyone do?

Thanks!!

Vicki

I don't own a scale, so I weigh in when I can get to one LOL!!! It's on my shopping list.

Some people weigh themselves everyday - when I did this weight loss this many years ago I weighed myself weekly to track my progress and I am aiming for that as well this go round!

I personally weigh in weekly but there is no right or wrong way, do what suits you.

Good luck with your weight loss.

I'll send you a friend request.

For me, weighting myself varies on how often I work out. I (try to) work out daily so there are a lot of times I will weight myself after working out to see if any progress has been made. If I go on a stretch where I stop working out or I am working out less, then I weight myself about once a week because I know the weight loss will likely be less gradual.

I try to update my weigh in every Saturday, but I still jump on the scale everyday. It kind of keeps me focused on getting my work out in and tracking my food. I also joined a group with similar goals or challenges.
