I did the 9-day cleanse because it was given to me for free and I wanted to see what these cleanses were all about. I was skeptical about the cleanses, but didn't feel right speaking out against them until I tried it myself. I'd never pay any money for the product or any "cleanse" after my experience. Most of the weight you'd lose in the short time is water, glycogen stores, and muscle/tissues. Once you go back to regular eating, your water weight will be restored and your glycogen levels will go back up. All Isagenix did was make me feel like crap for 9 days, and their products tasted awful. I lost all of my real weight afterwards by simply tracking my calories and staying in a deficit of between 3500 and 5000 calories a week. Some people claim that a cleanse helps jump start their new healthy diet, but I already made up my mind before trying the cleanse, and didn't need it to be healthy. Your liver, kidneys, and intestines do a great job of cleansing you.
So don't be discouraged. You tried Isagenix, saw it was a scam set up by people who profit from selling stories of the initial results, and can now move on.
Stick with healthy eating at a calorie deficit daily, and track every bit of food that goes into your mouth, and you'll see results. If you can stick with Isagenix for 6 weeks, you can stick with this plan as well. Make sure to hit your macros and get all of the vitamins and minerals your body needs, and exercise to define your muscles and get heart healthy. It's not that difficult :-)0 -
I lost about 23 lbs on it but honestly once I went off, I maintained it for almost 2 years. Not sure why you gained it back.
Possibly eating healthy isn't the problem, maybe its the size of the portions?0
