Need Help!

I just started about a week ago. My husband has been out of town which seems to make dieting much easier. I have been walking everynight, until last night plus I went over my calories by about 300 (even though I was eating healthier alternative). I was gung ho to get back on track today and I had a healthy low fat lunch, so I feel better. I did notice that I didn't feel very well after I didn't walk. I was really suprised at how short of a period that the walking just seemed like a daily task (something I needed to do) Which is a good thing I suppose. Now that my husband is home, all I can think about is going out to eat. It has become such a way of life, I mean eating out on weekends! I plan on walking again today, it is so nice outside. Anyhow maybe I just need to voice my feelings. This seems like a ramble. I get so much encouragement from this site it is unbelievable. I just wanted to add my story and let everyone know how much I would love a Big Mac right now.

Hang in there!!! This is a lifestyle. You cannot expect to change your habits in such a short time. Take it one day at a time. The most important thing is to be consistent and if you "fall" to pick yourself up right away and move on. Learn from your mistakes... We are all here to help each other!! You can do it!!!!!! :flowerforyou:0

You can go out to eat... Go to www.dailyplate.com before you go check out the calorie content and decide what you can eat and then that's what you get. Get something grilled and every once in a while I may indulge in something like a big mac but it stops there. I try to fit it in my calories and will not get fries with it or maybe I will get a side salad and eat that then I will only eat half a burger. Or I will get grilled chicken or fish and fries that way only part of the food I eat is indulgent and I don't feel like I am depriving myself. This is lifestyle change not a diet. Good luck. -Heather0

I think blogging on this website will really help. I have found that online journaling really helps; getting our emotions out, our troubles with our diets as well as our accomplishments. I think I'm going to use this as a daily journal. I was having so much trouble with hunger cravings that I ordered the slimshotdiet tablets. We'll see if that works!0
