Suggestions for elliptical purchase

I'm looking to buy an elliptical but have no idea which one to get. I really need to start exercising and a gym membership is not for me. I don't have a lot of money to spend ($150 or less) but I need to do something. I know there are exercises you can do without equipment but I have been at this since January and can't seem to get the will to do them. I think if I actually spend money on something and have to see it everyday that will be the push I need. Walmart has a couple of options in my price range but not sure. Anyone bought a machine recently?

    I'd look on Craigslist as a starting point. Plenty of people have exercise equipment for sale that has hardly been used. For your budget you may find something that would have cost a lot more than that from new.

    I have thought about buying used. I especially like the idea of not having to put the thing together. Just as a beginner didn't know if there were certain brands/features to look for.
