Hello All!

I've been on a calorie counting diet since August last year and have lost 48lb so far, I ideally want to lose another 14lbs still. However, I've hit the dreaded weight loss slump so needed some extra ideas to get the ball rolling again!

I've recently joined the gym so going there in the week now, along with my 1.5 mile walk to work from Monday - Fridays, so hopefully will see some weight movement again soon...!

Hi and welcome ,well done on such a huge weight loss :)
  • Yeah for you and your weight loss success! Don't beat yourself up over a slump. They are going to happen. So, just refocus (I am right there with you) and stick to your guns.

    YOU CAN DO IT.

Another thing you could try is mixing up your calories. For example, if you are allowed 1400 calories a day, that would be 9800 calories a week. So what you would do is eat 1200 one day then 1600 one day then 1200 then 1800 then 1300 then 1200 then 1500. You see you just mix it up everyday with one day being fairly high. Like in this example I did 1800 as a high day, but you could lower the other days by a 100 and make it 2500 that day. Whatever works best for you! It basically keeps your body guessing so you start losing weight again. If you would like you can send me you calorie levels and I could work out a weekly schedule for you. You would just need to tell me how many calories you allow yourself daily and what day of the week you would rather be your high day.

And you have done awesome by the way!!

    Hope this helps!
