In September of this year, I went to my gynecologist for an annual check up. I have PCOS, so it is customary for them to draw my blood. My results were in and my fasting glucose levels were high. Borderline diabetic high. Since then, I have lost 24 lbs and have been eating a lot healthier. Today I received a call from my family doctor stating that my glucose levels were normal! I was at the gym when they called and was practically in tears while doing my curls.

I also have PCOS. While my glucose levels are normal, my Insulin has been 45 and up to 55 over the past 5 years. Last blood test it was down to 32! I've since lost another 5kg (10lbs) and am due another round of tests. Fingers crossed.
