I am thinking about joining a gym. I am a gym-ophobe but I need to go. I have an AF right down the street and I was wondering if anyone had any input? Good? Bad? Pros? Cons? COST???
I need someone to help me "design" a workout but I dont want someone over my shoulder all the time.

I work out at any Anytime in Australia and I love it. Most people who go there are serious about their workouts and don't pay much attention to anyone else. There is a trainer there during certain hours but he mainly stays in the office unless he's needed on the floor. The only complaint is my gym is quite small and sometimes every piece of equipment you need is taken. The 24/7 thing means you never have an excuse not to exercise.
It's fairly cheap (about $50pm in Aus) and the cancellation policy is great.0 -
Bellingham Washington here. Their cancellation policy was tried, and horrendous to get out of. The key fob, which was said to be refundable, was not. YMMV0
