So i have been eating the amount of calories MFP recomends for me (1200). I have been eating loads of really healthy low-fat meats, fruits, and veggies. I have not been hungry, and i have actually enjoid eating frest, healthy foods!
So this monday i weighed 191lbs. When i weighed this morning i weighed 180bls. How is it even possible to lost that much in a week? I look/feel better/lighter, and my clother are fitting better. i am NOT complaining or anything...but i do realize it is not healthy to loose so much so quickly.
Do you suppose it is okay? I am eating plenty. I am not hungry. I have not been exercising (too bust right now)...so i am not undereating.
Any advise?

First of all, congratulations! I lost 5 lbs the first week, but maybe some of that (and some of yours) is water weight. Also, did you weigh yourself at the same time of day? Sometimes if you weigh yourself in the morning before eating, you weigh 3-5 lbs less than at the end of the day! Or if you weighed yourself after drinking a bunch of water.
Also, the ladies have some water weight fluctuations at different times of the month.
I wouldn't worry unless it happens a couple weeks in a row.
Again, congrats! :flowerforyou:0 -
Thanks!
I always weigh after i go to the bathroom first thing inthe morning before eating or drinking anything....i figure that is the most acurate (and its a smaller #...which is nice). I have been increasing my water intake and decreasing my Na intake...so i figure a good part of it must be water weight.
It sure does feel good though...i usually don't loose but 1 or 2 lbs the first week of a diet then i feel so unmotiveted. Since I lost so much (even though i know i will not continue to loose so quickly) I am more motiveted to continue!!!0
