So I'll just get this out of the way first. I LOVE fruit. Vegetables.... that's a bit of a harder struggle for me (other than green beans, broccoli, cauliflower and carrots). What I've found though, is that I tend to get in a fruit rut. Each grocery shopping trip has its staples, apples, bananas, pears, grapes, etc. So sometimes I decide to buy a "new" fruit, something that I haven't bought in a while, or don't typically get.

This shopping trip I decided to get pomegranates. I LOVE them!! I HATE opening them. Same goes for oranges, pineapples, watermelon.... anything that requires a bit of time to get what I want from it. Cooking is not my favorite thing to do and I hate when it takes up a huge chunk of the little free time that I have available, not matter how awesome it ends up tasting. (Yes, I can actually cook pretty well... just don't really enjoy it).

Anyone else find that they'll buy a fruit or vegetable and let it sit and rot rather than spend the 10 minutes to open it and cut it up?? I do the same thing with Spaghetti squash.
