Also, if you "burn" is one of these outrageous 800 - 1000 calories plus then you should probably check that...you're probably not burning that much and your estimate is inflated...and if you are really burning that much then you're probably over doing it. If you want to train like an athlete yo have to eat like one. On a good day I can burn about 600 calories give or take in 60 minutes...that's a couple beers in the evening or an extra little snack and then some desert later...it's really not hard to eat. Also, if you know you're going to have a big burn just plan it into your day...you don't have to go exercise at night and then be like WTF now I have all these calories...just plan better. Personally that's why I prefer the TDEE method...it's all wrapped up into your calorie goal and you don't have to worry about it.0
