Personality Changing as fast as my weight.

I told my nutritionist that people who never spoke to me before all of a sudden are smiling at me and starting conversation and it made me mad. Part of me wants to tell them to kiss my a** because now after losing 45 lbs I'm worthy of your attention! My nutritionist looked at me in shock and then shocked me back by saying "Perhaps it's you whose personality has changed since losing 45 lbs and now you appear more open to other people. Perhaps now you smile more and get out more... and perhaps now you are no longer a wall flower trying to hide in the corner or behind your kids and your husband."

It made me reflect and I do notice that I wear clothes now because they make me feel pretty, not because it covers me the best and I wear brighter colors. I do go out more and I've even found myself checking out my reflection in store windows and I've found my smile, yes I do smile more and walk taller. Perhaps she may be onto something. Anyone notice yourself changing from the inside and out?

    Awesome observation by your nutritionist.

I found I had the most problems shopping for clothes! I don't know what I like ore what stores to shop in anymore because I don't want to wear big ole shirts that hang over my now thin waistline...finding Jeans is like a full time job!! I am really a mess at a department store...Junior, missy, petite what are all of thoes! LOL

Yes she might be right but I think that others attitudes change as well..there is a coworker that often looked at me with disdain, so even with losing weight I paid her no mind. Now she is going out of her way to praise me and talk to me..hmmmm..interesting. But overall, yes, happiness comes with weight loss i think to a degree..I do know that i am ALOT less depressive and negative.
