HOP OFF THE EXCUSE EXPRESS

It took me a long time to accept this, and I just need to throw it out there because it's made the BIGGEST difference in my success.
"If you wan't it bad enough, you will find a way. If not, you will find an excuse."
For SO long, I was "too busy" to work out. I mean, I am a full time working mom... where was I going to find the time?
I was "too busy" to cook 2 different meals at dinner (picky 6 year olds, you know...) so I ate whatever he would eat.
Breakfast wasn't feasible, making it to the gym was "impossible", working out at home wasn't an option, I have thyroid problems, I am this, that or the other thing...blah blah blah...
Since March of this year, I put a stop to it. I joined a gym near my office and gave up my lunch hour in favor of a work out hour. I started cooking one night a week, prepping a week's worth of meals for myself and my son, and after a little resistance, he started eating more of the healthy meals & veggies than he ever had before. I got myself a bike, taught my 6 year old to ride, and now we go bike riding almost every night together. I stopped just taking him to soccer practice, but practicing WITH him. Since I live in a tiny 3rd floor apartment, doing something like 30DS or Turbo fire isnt an option, but there is no reason I can't do squats, sit-ups, leg raises, etc while we watch our evening cartoons together...
I have literally found a way around almost EVERY SINGLE excuse I had ever made for myself. I am not saying that the solutions are this simple for everyone, but if you take a step back and really examine your routine, there are absolutely changes that you can make that will help you achieve your goal. If I could do it, so can you!
