I eat a lot of fruits everyday and I always end up going over my sugar allowance... Is this bad? Will the excess sugar turn into fat? I don't care too much about losing weight, I'm more concerned with losing fat and gaining muscle. So should I cut down on my fruit intake? But I feel like fruits are so good for you though.. ):

Fruit are packed with fiber and micronutrients but they do have sugar. If your concern is weight loss then the number one thing to keep in line is a caloric deficit. No matter what you eat, going over your calorie allowance will result in a gain, sugar or not. Sugar does, however, have the physiological capacity to make fat gain easier and affect body composition - read about leptin, ghrelin, insulin and how they interact.
What's your sugar allowance? Realistically 'too much' is different for everyone.0
