Recipes on database?

Hi there. I have posted a few recipes to the MFP site. Does anyone know where to go to search for recipes that are input, perhaps by searching the category (i.e., mexican, italian, etc.)?

It is my understanding that MFP doesn't have this functionality on a site-wide level yet. If you're trying to enter servings of your own recipes into your diary, click on the Recipes tab (up there with "Recent," "Frequent," etc.) and choose the recipe you want. If you're trying to look up other people's recipes, they would have to enter their recipes into the food database, as if they were trying to enter a new food, and put in all the nutritional data. Then you could search for them in the main food database, using whatever name they put on it. I have done this for some of mine that I have shared with other people.0

OK. So, you have to have the actual name of the recipe to search it in the database?0

I guess it's probably easier just to go to the recipe forum.0
