Water

Can someone explain to me why drinking a lot of water is beneficial for weightloss? I'm 200lbs. I've drank 94oz so far today (and it is only 4:19pm). According to a website I am supposed to drink 134oz per day for my weight. I feel like all day I have just filled up my water bottle, drink it, pee it out, and start over. Is this really necessary? Is it going to make a difference if I drink 64oz instead of 134oz per day?

Edited to add: Also--I feel like drinking this water has made me hungrier and not fuller.

I just think it helps my body keep the crap/toxins moving OUT of my body that we all encounter on a daily basis. It's harder to lose weight when your body is looking high and low for a way to escort the toxins out but it doesn't have enough water :/ You supposedly need 1/2 your weight in ounces of water/day. So you'd need 100 ozs. And you won't always pee like crazy, your body will adjust :) Keep it up, it's worth it!
