During work week I'm good, weekend not so much (w 2 kids)

Hi I have 2 kids, 5 and 3 and they take up a lot of my time and energy. I find myself able to do pretty well at work w/ my diet and working out, but when I'm home during the weekend things don't go so well with my diet or working out. Every week I lose and gain back the same pound and a half.
Need ideas how to do better at home. I think I feel bad for me at home because things are so demanding and there's no room for me to be me. So I indulge. Working out with them was easier in summer but I live in a very cold state. Only chance to work out is at work lunch hour in gym.
I want to have a third child, but need to get into my healthy bmi range first I feel...I also have back trouble from my first pregnancies (symptoms started then and linger on, better as I strengthen my core). I also want to be attractive to my husband...like I was before kids. He wants to have baby 3 too but wants me to be stronger for it. I want to show my kids how to be healthy by being a good role model.
We do not eat fast food. I have trouble in taking too much sugar in my coffee drinks and in candy and home cooked baked goods.
Ideas? Help and ideas much appreciated.

Oh man do I know what you mean!!
I find that what helps me stay on track (and these days I'm a SAHM - so there's always STUFF around!) is to prepare food in the morning. Like when preparing breakfast, many times I'll cut up a bunch of vegies so there's a bunch lying on the counter during the day. And I'll peel and cut up a bunch of fruit and stick it in the fridge in a huge container, so when I get the munchies at ten am it's very convenient to snack on fruit instead of cookies.
Good Luck!!0
