Can anyone pull this crazy move off and hold it? How did you work up to it? How much harder are planche pushups?

I'm working up to it. I can do semi-tucked planche for about 0.01s. I can bring myself up to a semi-tucked position without swinging but can't hold for much. I can hold a full tucked, though.
It's a lot to do with front delt strength so you just need to keep practising tucked. I am also doing DB front raises to work that area.
As for an idea of how hard planche pushups are, get in a planche position with a foot or even a toe on a chair (or a gym ball) and do a push up.
I've invented the face planche. (It's like a face plant but involves attempting a planche.)0 -

I used to be able to do this a a teenager about 40+ years ago. If you google planche progression training you'll get quite a few hits on various programs to progress to this level.0
