Getting off the road and into an office

I thought when I got off the road and into the office it would be easier to drop some lbs. Was I ever in for a surprise! The boss caters in food and goodies 3 days a weeks and the other employees are always bringing in baked cookies, cakes, snacks, etc. LOL!

Someone brought in 2 of my very favorite cakes yesterday, double chocolate and German chocolate! It's definitely a challenge. At least there is always fresh fruit around and we have a refrigerator in the lunch room, I've been bringing in some food stuffs and making my own lunch, which helps.

LOL :laugh: I know how you feel. We have way too many goodies coming through my office also.

Also love German Chocolate! I've got to start bringing food in too. I go out way too much. Eating ok when I go out, but I'm eating the same stuff all the time (Dunkin donuts egg-white flatbread, slice of pizza, etc). Spending too much $$.

I work in a small Real Estate office and people are always bring in goodies (candy, cupcakes, pizzas, etc.). I always wonder why they have never bring any fruit bowls. lol I guess its the office life.

I'm actually working at our corporate office (learning the ropes) which is about 80 miles from where I live. The company pays from my hotel and all food expenses. Thus, I can eat what I want whenever I want and the company pays. Can you imagine. No wonder I was starting to put on more weight by being in an office!

I will be working out of an office in my hometown starting December. I will be by myself and won't have to deal with all the goodies being brought in by others.
