My client sent me pork roll!!! There goes my clean eating right out the window!! My food weakness right there. I *have* to eat it. I wouldn't be a Jersey girl if I did not! I know all the Jersey peeps share my excitement. You cant' get the stuff out here where I live. I'm so impatient for dinner now!! LOL I have no idea how i'm gonna make it to the end of the workday AND through my workout. I just wish I had a good ole Jersey bagel to go with it.. mmmm pork roll egg and cheese on and everything bagel. SO GOOD

    I am a Jersey girl and I have no idea what a pork roll is. :P But I'm vegetarian so that's probably why. But omg bagels. BAGELS.

    Mmmm ... Pork roll ... It's also great if you cut it into tiny cubes, crisp it up, and mix it with baked beans ... Jersey Rulez!

    The irony of you, in 2 sentences, saying eating clean tastes better then talking about how amazing and yummy this "dirty" food was. Clean is more nutritionally dense, for the most part, but doesn't necessarily taste better. Oreos are strictly better tasting than bananas.

    I had to google pork roll, as I am a southern girl and had no idea either...ok, kinda yucky, but that is most likely what you would say about scrapple, which I LOVE, so I guess we are even! LOL -

    glad it was good - we all need to go off course every once in awhile!

    yep eating clean tastes better.. except for maybe this food and jersey pizza. Both of which tear me up and make me feel all yucky and bloated and sickly. I didn't say "no other type of food tastes good" but I think unprocessed clean food tastes better overall. Even in this case. It's more nostalgia and comfort food I think with the taylor ham then anything else, and clearly taste preferences vary by individuals.

    Because again.. oreos are gross!!

    Because only people from South Jersey know what pork roll is. And everyone knows South Jersey is not even considered part of NJ. They are Philly :)
