Losing more than 2lbs in 1 week?

I've started a few days ago and I've lost more than 3 pounds already? I do keep my house a tad cold so is that effecting my calories burned?

I'm happy that I'm seeing results, but I don't want to die or anything if that is bad. Some days I have eaten 100 calories or less than recommended..

Your body will always fluctuate depending on so many different factors. Bloat, what you've eaten, if you drank something etc. This is why most people try to only weigh weekly.
The scale may jump plus or minus a few lbs depending on the day. Also water weight is a factor.0 -
Often when we start dieting, we drop water weight. Losing over the expected amount in the first week or two isn't uncommon. If it continues for a few weeks, then I would reevaluate how much you are eating.
Keep in mind, weight loss is not linear. Some weeks you may drop more than expected, others you won't drop any.0 -
Body weight fluctuates a ridiculous amount throughout the day and week. My suggestion to you is to weigh yourself less frequently; once a week is fine, and ideally at the same time every week, to keep measurements consistent. If you're still seeing dramatic weight loss (anything over 2 pounds a week is worrisome), consult a doctor if you can.
Also as far as I know, cold temperatures don't affect calories burned.0 -
It's common to lose it quickly in the beginning as your body burns its glycogen stores (also known as water weight). I lost 6 lbs my first 10 days. It'll slow down.0

You just started, it's pretty normal to lose some initial weight pretty rapidly...you're depleting your glycogen stores and dropping water weight. It should stabilize soon...if not, just adjust your calorie intake accordingly...but give it a few weeks to really see a trend.0

It's got to be the temperature of the house. Your probably burning around 1100 calories a day by burning energy an to keep yourself warm. If you feel like your losing at too fast a pace then get the blankets out. But if you want to loose weight more in one area you could wrap up the rest if your body and leave that area exposed. That's how a good deal of people spot reduce their stomach and get abs.0
