Hi
I am an oldish member but just about 2 weeks back started taking this more seriously.
My wife and I entered a competition for most weight lost (% of most weight lost)
I am an extremely competitive person. So I have to win!! :-)

I don't eat salad. So instead I have veggies which then fills me up.
During the day I have:
06:00 Breakfast/shake
10:00 Fruit + Protein snack,
13:00 Lunch (normally a piece of chic or fish + veggies)
15:00 Fruit + Protein snack
18:00 Supper (more or less same as lunch)

After all this I still have not reached my quota on calories.
and MYFITNESSPAL always moans at me when I don't.

So finally we get to my question/s:
1) Is it important that I do reach the recommended calories even after eating all day? (I am always having to force myself to eat the snacks)

PS. in case it matters, With the competition in mind I usually push pretty hard at gym (Cardio only) burning 800-1000 calories
and from next week it will be twice a day.

Thank you for taking the time to read and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Starting date 22 - October 2013 (17 days)
(Starting weight 132KG / 291 POUNDS)
(Current weight 125KG / 275 POUNDS)
Lost 7KG / 15 POUNDS)

How many net calories are you finishing the day with?

ummm yeah, you need to eat at least another 1500 calories a day, you will end up losing muscle mass and doing a disservice if you keep this up! You have negative net calories per day!

Edit: I just looked at your diary, buy a protein shake with at least 30g of protein per serving and have 2 of those per day, you should try and get 1g of protein per lb of lean body mass!
