Why We Always Back Track

So I've come to learn that the reason we always fall back into old habits is because we never replace them with new habits! In order for something to stick you really have to make an effort to re-train your mind. If you do this you will begin moving in the direction you want to go. It's all a matter of "how bad do you want it?"

We keep failing over and over and over because we never change the picture. We have to make sure that we are taking proactive steps to achieve our goals! I have found several ways to train the brain and I wanted to let you know about them.

The first thing is making sure you are using affirmations and using them properly. Sometimes when people use an affirmation they are putting negatives in without even knowing it! I.e., "I do not let my past dictate my future." Your subconscious mind is unable to tell the difference so all it sees and hears is, "Do not." A better way to say this would be, "My future is bright and full of opportunity."

Another method I use is constantly making sure that I am filling my head with POSITIVE things and not negative. I don't even have cable anymore because everything on television is depressing or was leading me in the wrong direction.
