So I am toying with the idea of relying on my own coconut water during my next marathon. I've been training with coconut water for nearly 6 months and I find that it totally suits me. Have any of you relied on coconut water for running a half or full marathon?

My concern has to do with overdoing it with potassium. I suffer from calf cramps during marathons and I am doing very well with the added potassium in the coco water. I just don't know how much is too much. (I'm doing a full marathon in three weeks). The longest stretch of hydration I've done is with ~16 miles using coconut water amounting to 2800mg of potassium.

Any thoughts??????
