Friday night splurg means weight gain

so monday to friday i get up each morning and work out monday-thursday i stick to 1400 calories but friday i will go over by a little as i have a drink of wine. and the next morning my weight is back up.
how can i stop this without giving up my social life. i no its not actul fatty weight as lose it real easy but cant kept past the 5lbs i keep gaining and losing.

Sorry, but you aren't gaining and losing the same 5lbs due to one glass of wine every Friday night.
Are you weighing and measuring all of your food? Are you logging accurately and consistently? These would be the first things to look at before getting rid at your glass of wine. Unless your one glass of wine actually turns into 8 which turns into Friday night drunk binging. Then that is a completely different story.
Weight loss is calories in vs calories out. That's it. Something wonky is happening along the way if you are not getting the results you are working towards.0 -
I agree with Vegas. Keep the wine but look at your logging habits and make sure you are putting all food in and all exercise, as well not over/under-estimating calories. You can't gain weight overnight.0
