BMR?

Ok this is going to be a stupid question.
I have a BMR of 1,253 and that's how much calories my body needs, correct? So am I suppose to eat 1253 calories a day instead of 1200. Because if I eat under 1253, that will be bad for my body and I can't lose weight effectively, right?
Or does it not make any difference?
