Help! Losing my hair!

So I have been on my weight loss journey for about 6 months and in the last couple of months I have been losing quite a bit of hair. My doctor just diagnosed me as anemic and I have been taking a high dosage iron supplement and I also just started a daily multivitamin. I just wondered if anyone else has experienced this and if anyone has any suggestions. Any thoughts or tips would be appreciated, because honestly, I am freaking out!

I'm taking 5000 mg of biotin a day. After about 6 months, I'm losing much less.0

do the protein, do the fat, fruit and veggies take the multi and the iron. There are hormonal changes with weight loss and sometimes I think in the absence of malnutrition it pushes hair into that shedding phase. (no proof just my thinking) dont shampoo ever day. make sure you brush it very delicately lots of detangler and leave in conditioner. Oh and dandruff if you have a lot of that or itchy scalp might want to talk to a dermatologist that can cause some loss if there is a fungal/bacteria infection.
biotin is another supplement that has shown positive results I think it helps decrease the shedding.
finally worse comes to worse you can look at rogaine for women just to prevent the loss.0
