* One 1-oz package tuna jerky (90 calories)
* 1 oz buffalo mozzarella, 1/2 cup cherry or grape tomatoes (94 calories)

I would say good for weight loss, but many of these are not good for you as in healthy. Items in the list that are not healthy include, but are not limited to, the items below:
* 1 bag Baked! Cheetos 100 Calorie Mini Bites (100 calories)
* 1 Subway Turkey Breast Wrap (190 calories) (crazy high in sodium and meat is processed)
* 1 packet O'Coco's Mocha cookies (90 calories)
* 1 Jelly Belly 100-calorie pack (100 calories)
* One 100-calorie pack Trader Joe's Chocolate Graham Toucan Cookies (100 calories)
* 1 Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino bar (120 calories)
* 24 Annie's Chocolate Chip Bunny Graham cookies (140 calories)
* Half of a 1.08-oz container of M&M's Minis mixed with 1/3 cup lowfat granola (145 calories)
These foods I would not consider good for you although they may help you lose weight due to being low in calories. I always see people, on this site and not on the site, that confuse healthy food with food that may help you lose weight. They are mutually exclusive and because it is one does not make it a part of the other group.0 -
While I agree with you erickirb, these are also suggestions to help you from going on a bender, and eating everythign in sight. So while I'm with you on not suggesting these be consumed daily, if someone is craving something BAD, these are better options than, say, movie theater popcorn or a pint of Ben and Jerry's.0

They have the mini one-serving size b&j containers now. If you have to have it, just buy those, that way you CAN eat the whole container and not feel as guilty. I know someday I'm going to have to have one of those. Nothing replaces my Chunky Monkey!0 -

Oh no no guilt intended! I meant my "agreed" to be aimed more at the fact that these snacks wouldn't be wonderful if consumed all day everyday, as they may lack in other areas, but they are GREAT craving crunchers! Ben and Jerry's isn't bad every now and then either. We gotta reward ourselves sometimes, right?0 -
Obviously, some of these are BETTER solutions than the others... but these are still good. Last I checked, I can't get celery out of a vending machine. And sometimes, sadly, you come upon hunger unprepared and the processed foods are the only ones available.
But do check out the great, very healthy option included in the list (edamame, bananas, etc) as wells as the pretzels and Starbuck's bars.0 -

my trouble is that if i was to eat most of the things from the sweet list, i find that it doesn't fill me up at all, and thus the calories are not warranted for myself...i'd rather eat something that fills me up

Well, you're meant to snack BEFORE you're starving. These aren't meals, they're just meant to keep you holding on until it is time for a meal.0 -

indeed...simply stating that for me, eating those things would not keep me holding on until the next meal.0
