Correct Protein level for MFP

Serious question - if the Protein quota for pretty much everyone on MFP is too low then why don't the MFP control group just go in there and adjust the default macros?
I am eating at 0.8g/1lb LBM and even I have to switch my Carbs down 5% to get my Proteins up 5% to reach a figure just above my target protein intake and I'm not looking to increase muscle mass; just maintain existing mass and increase strength. So if I need to - everyone else does surely?
Just tweak the default settings MFP Engine Room - save us all a job as soon as we join up?

For those who don't know how to do it or how to figure out what is required.

I do 35%... I was pretty surprised how low the default was when I first joined.0
