Pain in left shoulder when jumping rope!

Hi, just to be a little more specific the pain is just below my shoulder and feels as if it is quite deep inside, almost as if the pain is coming from just behind my heart!
I don't believe this to be a heart problem as I only get when jumping rope and not when running, cycling, swimming etc.
It is very annoying as I love jumping rope as part of my routine but am finding it impossible. I have had about 10 days rest from jumping rope to see if that solved the problem but it didn't!
Any suggestions, has this happened to anyone else?
Thanks

Possibly a nerve is getting pinched in there. You could try these stretches.
