Exercise ideas with shoulder injury

Hey all!
I was hurt about three weeks ago and finally got the okay to start working out, but am limited to nothing that jolts or uses my left shoulder (more then 15lbs, or exercises recommended by my PT) I have mostly been walking to get my body re-started however still want to hit my goal weight (one of many) of 20lbs lost by the end of the year. Anyone have good ideas for exercises?

By PT, do you mean physical therapist or personal trainer?

Elliptical (without the arm bars, if that's too much), bike or spinning (though spinning might be a bit much if you're not used to exercising yet... it's pretty intense...)

orrrr you could just do a bunch of different types of squats/lunges and leg moves. This will work your legs, glutes and abs (depending on the moves, but for most).

Do still do some arm things - I'm sure your PT gave you moves to do to try to get the mobility back in your arms. Do those!
No recommendations on easy arm stuff from me otherwise though :( Hope you have a speedy recovery!!

Thanks all for the ideas, not sure why I had not thought of spin class!
