Do your total calories allowed reduce as you lose weight?

I actually increased mine. My weight loss stalled, and I was constantly starving when I was trying to stay under 1200 total. My metabolism sped up, so my body needed more fuel. I set my calorie goal at 1500(my BMR is just over 1400, and my TDEE is just over 1600). Feeling much better now.0

Yes, but MyFitnessPal won't change them automatically. Every 5 lbs. or so, you should go to settings and change your fitness goals. Otherwise your loss will gradually slow down until you reach equilibrium.
Similarly, if your activity level (excluding exercise) changes, you should update your settings--for example, if you move from working at a call center to stocking shelves.0
