My friend is trying to join MFP and she is currently breast feeding her 2 month old baby. I believe she is confused as to how she calculates the calories. Do you put it under exercise? I think it burns around 500 calories each time but I am not certain. Is she supposed to eat back those calories?

It's not 500 each TIME (I wish!), it's 500 each day, so long as she is exclusively breastfeeding. I add it in as a food, and it puts negative calories in my diary. You can also add it as exercise but I got tired of it showing in my feed.0
