    Hey Marry,

Sometimes our bodies react slowly to change. That's normal too. It may take some folks 1 week to notice a change while it takes someone else longer (3 - 5 weeks) to notice a change. Maybe that's what's going on with you? Also I've noticed for myself that while I am under in my calorie goals I am over in Carbs, Fat, and Sugar which can significantly inhibit weight loss. My only advice is to stick it out and keep at it. Sometimes we just need to give our bodies time to adjust and other times we are just a minor tweak away from finding our "magic balance"! Eventually you'll figure out what combinations of food/exercise work best for you. Hope this helps!

It could be water weight. Keep it up for a bit longer and see what happens. I've plateaued for a couple months. It happens for various reasons like water retention and muscle growth.

1200 calories is really low. You might want to up your calorie intake to something more manageable.

It is possible you actually ate more than you think. If you don't lose weight over the next few weeks, consider buying a food scale and weighing everything to get a more accurate calorie count.

in one week? why do you think anything went "wrong". just keep on doing what you are doing. personally, i think 1200 may be a bit low (especially if you add exercise). but our weight can flucuate, so don't worry - take pictures, try on small clothing, and measure yourself - you are bound to see differences.

Weight loss is sometimes irregular and you body is not a machine where you can enter some numbers and it will always react the exact same way every time. Sometimes, I loose nothing and then again up to 1.5lbs a week. I just take it as it comes.

Beside eating under 1200 cal seems to be far too low considering that you BMR is higher than that.

I've heard it takes 4 weeks for you to notice changes in your body from weight loss, 8 weeks for family, and 12 for friends. Give it time, it's not going to happen right away but it will happen if you keep it up.

You are doing just fine! Since you don't have an extreme amount of weight to lose you have to remember that .5 - 1 pound per week is going to be normal. I know this is upsetting and you will not see the change as quickly as you want to. But by only losing that much each week your body is adapt so much better to the changes.

Be patient. The best line I tell myself to help is that it did not take a few weeks for you to gain the weight so it will take more than a few weeks for you to lose it.

Don't beat yourself up overt things. If you have a smart phone I highly suggest making a fitness account. This is something that is helping me honestly more than MFP because my followers keep me accountable. Each time I want something bad to eat I ask myself if I would post it to them and it keeps me from doing it.

1200 calories and under may be a bit too low when you workout. Might be a good idea to eat back like half your workout calories on workout days. Hang in there ;)

This makes sense! My body for sure doesn't react the same time to the things i do. Even if that is more food, less food, more working out, cardio instead of weights.

Just keep it up .. .THE SCALE WILL CATCH UP
