I thought I would share a really helpful tool that has helped me in the past.
If you are on this forum, you will have no doubt seen inspirational quotes plastered all over the internet?
When the rain is pouring down and the wind is blowing outside on those dark winter nights after a long day at work. It can be really easy to decide that you won’t do your cardio today or you won’t go to the gym.
It’s harder if your “Workout o’clock” is first thing in the morning, a lot easier to stay in bed.
I’ve been there like everyone else, but one thing that always helps me is the use of motivational quotes. Il get some that mean something to me and Il print it out and stick it to the TV, by the front door, on the fridge (if I’m dieting), the bathroom mirror, ….. there everywhere!
Everyone will have their reason for having a fitness/ weight loss goal also, so write this down too and pin it up where you will be at your weakest.
One of the best ones for me is:
“Remember why you started……”
(I do have a post on my site but I won’t link it because I want to stay a part of this great community.)
Good luck
Jim
