Help required. Daily calorie allowance

Hi, This is the start of my second week on MFP.
MFP recommended that I have 1,200 cals per day which I did until I read more in to it on line and on here.
At the moment I weigh 11 stone 9 lbs and im 5 ft 2, my goal weight is 9st 2 lb and i'm female.
Now I seem to get different figures on the different on line calculators the NHS website says I should have between 1356 and 1744 cals and stick to the lower end to loose 1 to 2 lb per week. I presume then as this figure is based on being sedentary I can then eat any exercise cals earned ?
Could someone in the know please advise me if 1356 is a sensible figure if I also eat any exercise cals earned ?
Thanks in advance

  • I have been at 1,200 for a while and it's been working well for me and I'm 5'7 at 203. You definitely should eat any exercise calories back so that your net is 1,200 or whatever your goal is.

1356 sounds sensible to me. Give it a go and see how quickly you lose weight, if you want to speed it up then 1200 is also safe (but should be a minimum). I eat my exercise calories

I'm 5'3" and 1350 net calories worked at the beginning of my weight loss. I had to increase the calories as my BF got lower.
