After the reading the posts below abiut planning, it is so true. I frequently plan meals a few days in advance BUT I often don't make a shopping list so stupid end up ot having the food in. I think it is also really important to buy lots of healthy options, which I usually don't do thinking oh I will save money and not buy them because I don't need them...but in the end it ends up costing me more because I buy food outside. So, here is my menu plan and shopping list for this week:

TUESDAY
B-1 egg + 2 slices small bread OR 1 egg omelet plus small bowl oatmel with toppings such as nuts and fresh fruit. tea/coffee

L-chicken, tomato, basil and onion salad with homemade french dressing (no oil)

D-Homemade saag chicken with 2 wholemeal roti (cooked in 3tsp coconut oil)

WEDNESDAY
B-same

L-Salad of lettuce, green pepper, cucumber, grated carrot, boiled eggs + egg white, walnuts, with yoghurt dressing and croutons

D-Homeade cauliflower+pea sabzi with 2 roti (cooked in 2tsp coconut oil)

THURSDAY
B-same

L-Salad (same as above)

-Roasted pumpkin, red onion, green pepper, carrot, green beans with baked chicken + basil plus cumin yoghurt dressing

FRIDAY
B-Same

L-leftover roasted vegetables topped with chopped walnuts and yoghurt dressing, 1 boiled egg + 1 egg white

D-grilled marinated bhekti fish (indian fish marinated in yoghurt with brocolli
