Sugar-Free Syrups?

Hi, I have recently purchased an espresso maker and have been so excited to use it since! Currently the only syrup I own is Starbucks' Cinnamon Dolce, which I have had for a while now and I'm growing a bit tired from.
I have shopped online, and fell in love with the vast range of flavors offered by Torani and DaVinci (peanut butter, bacon, chocolate peanut butter, toasted marshmallow, etc.)! To my surprise, they offered every single flavor in a sugar-free variety as well.
I'll be honest, I know close to zero about sugar-free syrups. I know sugar-free products in general carry a lot of controversy over what they use to sweeten them, but these companies use sucralose, not aspartame. I've always associated aspartame with more negative side-effects than sucralose, so I usually don't avoid that one as much.
Anywho, I was wondering, what are your opinions on sugar-free syrups?
I would love to sit down with a latte with a lower caloric composition, that sounds lovely!
Has anyone here tried them?
Do they have an odd flavor? After taste?
Should I purchase sugar-free, or splurge on the full calorie, sugar laden syrups?
I love flavor, and would be so disappointed to compromise, but they seemed to get good reviews.
But then again, the people reviewing them seemed to have a lot of past experiences with sugar-free products, so they may be used to the "odd" flavor, if it has one.
Thank you so much for reading this, and I really appreciate any advice! I've never been so conflicted lol. :p

I take it easy with anything sugar-free; if it uses sugar alcohol it tends to upset my stomach. I have a friend who swears by the torani syrups. I currently have the chocolate sugar free flavor in my fridge, but haven't tried it yet.
