Time to make a change

Well today is the day I've decided for the umpteenth time to try to take control of what I eat and lose this weight. I am 52 years old and a mother of five and I am tired of feeling bad and looking bad.

  • I feel like we have hit a similar wall. I hope that your initiative begins well and hopefully the results are encouraging. I often get discouraged when I do not see immediate results. What I need to focus on is that it will take time and will be worth it.

    Welcome!!!
I'm 47 (or 2 more weeks) and the mother of 2. I've struggled for awhile but I'm getting closer!!!!

Why DO cupcakes taste better than a cucumber when we're stressed?
why do we (I) like pop so much better than water?

I'm working on re-training the brain on those types of things for sure.

Its taken years but I'm feeling like I'm finally consistent (most of the time) with my workouts. yeah... one victory down, more to follow.

    Friend me if you'd like

    Nancy

My sentiments exactly. I have not been on My Fitness Pal for a few months, but starting back tomorrow and going to try it once again. This time we can do it!
