Advice for beginner trying to 'lift' at home!!

Hey everyone!
I'm a complete beginner to resistance/weight training. I can't afford the gym so I workout at home in a tiny space.
I usually do squats, sit ups and push ups as I have no weights.
My question is: What is a good beginners routine, and how should I slowly increase that?
At the moment I do 3 sets of 10 reps for each exercise, then repeat again. I get frustrated as it takes me absolutely ages to complete the push ups in particular because I have no upper body strength. I am fine with the other exercises, but push ups kill me and I often give up after a measly 30 reps!
I'm really demotivated right now, and would appreciate any suggestions, advice or sharing your own stories!
Thanks!
