Nearly 100 lbs Lost - Wowzers!

Options
So I started my weight loss journey at the beginning of 2010 during the second half of my junior year in college. Toward the end of 2009, I had a miscarriage and was thoroughly depressed and had no support from my "then" husband. I think November of 2009 I weighed roughly 312 lbs (after the loss of my child). It took a lot to get out of that funk, but the support from my family and friends has really helped me push through and I am forever grateful for it. Unfortunately, more motivation came from my brothers who were both diagnosed with congestive heart failure and one has diabetes and both of them AND my mother have high blood pressure. I don't want ANY of that!

Pre-MFP, I lost 78 lbs.

Post-MFP I've lost another 20 lbs and I started MFP July 2013.

Never really thought I'd find myself posting a "success story" BUT I think that if this could help motivate others, then why not? I sincerely hope that everyone is doing well and sticking to the journey they chose, whether it's weight loss, weight maintenance, learning to eat healthier, etc. Keep at it and good things are in store for you all!

Peace and love!
