Lost and Maintaining

I started using MFP during the last part of my Insanity workout. It was THE key to Losing and now Maintaining my goal weight.
I have lost over 40lbs! By following the MFP app nutrition counter and staying within my calorie goal, I had lost an additional 10lbs from my goal weight.
I have not done any more serious exercising like Insanity since my initial weight loss. It IS all about the numbers! Calories in and Calories out for Maintaining.
I also follow Bob Harpers Skinny Rules which help me stay focused on my weight loss maintenance. Coming into the Holiday season, I will continue to use MFP to keep track of all my food intake. MFP makes me accountable.
If I can do it...anyone can. I have been on the YO YO diet train for too long. I am finally making a difference in my life and my family's life and setting a good example.
I have dropped my Cholesterol from over 240+ to 167! My blood pressure is normal! I feel great!
If you want to maintain with Exercise, that is totally up to you. It is about the numbers. If you choose to eat more, Do more. If you choose to do less, eat less. It is as simple as that in my opinion.
GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE and STRIVE on with myftnesspal.
Thank you MyFitnessPal!

Firstly, well done indeed for getting there and maintaining.
I agree with you totally about numbers - its basic physics and as Scottie said "Ye cannae change the laws of Physics Jim"!!
Once we all realise that it really IS the numbers - then more will succeed.
Keep doing what you're doing. You're doing it right.0
